The process of globalization that is happening today, demanding changes from the Indonesian economy resourced based to knowledge based. Resource based on the wealth and diversity of natural resources generally produce basic commodities with little value added. One of the key to the creation of knowledge based economy is a existence of technology entrepreneurs or abbreviated techno-preneur who pioneer new business by relying on innovation. Hightech business is a classic example of a business by herself technopreneurs.

Business technology world is currently dominated by the sectors of information technology, biotechnology and new materials, and various business development of technology-based innovation. Business technology developed by the synergy between teknopreneur as pengagas business, universities and research institutions as the center of innovation, new technologies, and venture capital enterprise that have competency in funding.
